Kettle Room Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring kettle systems used in the manufacturing process, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices during production, sanitation & handling materials & ingredients
• . Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required for each work activity or job.
• Perform RedZone checks as needed.
• Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

• · Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• · Ability to communicate production issues, counts, and weights to supervision or lead personnel.
• · Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• · Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus
• Education/Experience:
• · High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• · Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• · Forklift/Pallet Jack experience preferred.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time, bend or move utilizing proper lifting techniques, reach with hands and arms to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and climb or balance.

  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
