Job Description

The Junior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the development and operations teams to ensure the smooth, efficient, and reliable delivery of AccumTech’s products. This person will be involved in automating processes, maintaining infrastructure, and improving the overall software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software deployment and release management
• Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot and monitor build and deployment issues
• Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Create and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps)
• Proficiency in Docker and container management
• Understanding of cloud computing
• Familiarity of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python)

Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet)
• Understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000.
