Johns Island Post Acute is a gorgeous 132-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility in Johns Island SC , just 10 minutes away from historic downtown Charleston. Successful candidates will have the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential

HOUSEKEEPING : Essential Duties:

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
• Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.
• Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to pass a drug screen & federal background check
