Travel Pharmacy Technician Inpatient Hospital
Location: Big Island, Hawaii
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with the potential to extend
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons | 8-hour shifts
A travel pharmacy technician works on temporary contractsusually 13 weeksat facilities in need of short-term staffing support. These roles are especially valuable in areas with staffing shortages or seasonal patient increases.
Travel techs are contracted through agencies and receive compensation packages that often include:

This role offers the opportunity to grow your inpatient experience while exploring new locationsin this case, the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii.
Support daily inpatient pharmacy operations
Operate systems such as EPIC and Pyxis
Work closely with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure safe and timely medication delivery
Adapt to new workflows and integrate quickly into a hospital environment
At least 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience
Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems
Reliable, professional, and flexible with work schedules
Able to commit to the full 13-week assignment
National certification (e.g., PTCB) and state licensure (if required by Hawaii)
