Job Description:

Sunlight is seeking compassionate and reliable Homemakers to join our dedicated home care team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator to help clients maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. If you’re someone who takes pride in supporting others and making a difference in their day-to-day lives, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As a Homemaker with Sunlight, you’ll be responsible for non-medical support services that promote dignity and independence, including:

Providing light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living space

Changing bed linens and assisting with laundry

Helping clients dress and undress as needed

Offering medication reminders (no administration)

Preparing and serving healthy meals

Assisting with feeding if necessary

Observing and reporting changes in client condition

Documenting services provided in line with company standards

Maintaining a high level of professionalism, hygiene, and respect

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Successfully completed required homemaker or home care training and competency evaluation program

Ability to read, understand, and follow care instructions and documentation protocols

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrates compassion, reliability, and respect for elderly or disabled individuals

Must pass a competency test with a minimum score of 80%

Maintains excellent personal hygiene and professional demeanor

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle in good working condition

Must be able to pass a thorough background check
