A bit about us: We are a busy, active family of four, Mom, Dad, a one-year-old daughter, and a newborn, along with our two lovable dogs, a German Shepherd and a Goldendoodle. We love spending time outdoors, whether it’s evening trips to the park, weekend getaways to our cabins in the summer, or simply enjoying family time together. Both Mom and Dad are career-oriented and travel frequently for work, so we are looking for someone who can step in as a reliable and supportive “third wheel,” helping our little ones thrive while keeping up with our active lifestyle. A bit about you: You have 3–5 years of experience in childcare, either as a nanny or a preschool teacher, and are CPR certified with a valid driver’s license. You enjoy bringing learning into everyday play, incorporating preschool curriculum in fun and engaging ways. You help provide structure and routine while creating opportunities for meaningful interactions, play, and exploration. Above all, you are energetic, nurturing, and passionate about helping children grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Job Duties: Upon arrival, you will assist with breakfast for the one-year-old as needed, followed by engaging activities such as crafts, playtime, or outdoor exploration. You will support the toddler’s lunchtime routine and help prepare meals, then oversee nap time from noon to 2 PM, using this period to complete meal prep and light household tasks. In the afternoons, you will engage the toddler in her favorite activities, including exploring nature and bugs, bike rides, stroller walks, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and reading. Daily responsibilities also include assisting with cleanup and household organization, encouraging the toddler to participate. Pet care is minimal and primarily involves letting the dogs in and out as needed. Infant care is currently straightforward, with multiple naps and feedings, though responsibilities will evolve as the child grows. Position Highlights : 40 hours a week guaranteed, PTO, paid holidays Qualifications : 3-5 years of experience of working with children the same age, engaging personality, reliable, and a self-starter. Set yourself apart : Speak another language or have experience in a daycare profession. Schedule: Starting as soon as November 3rd, Monday to Friday from 8 am-4 pm, or Monday to Thursday from 7/7:30 am- 5/5:30 pm. Ideally this position will last a year or longer for the right fit.
