Job Summary Airport Jobs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Flight Schedule Coordinator to join our remote team. The Flight Schedule Coordinator will be responsible for planning, updating, and managing airline flight schedules to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with aviation regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain airline flight schedules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with various departments, including operations, crew scheduling, and customer service, to align scheduling with operational needs. Monitor and adjust flight schedules based on factors such as aircraft availability, weather conditions, and regulatory requirements. Communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders, including pilots, cabin crew, and airport staff. Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize flight planning and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies when creating and modifying schedules. Analyze historical data and trends to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce delays. Respond to last-minute schedule changes or disruptions and implement contingency plans as needed. Provide support in coordinating charter and special flight operations. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in airline scheduling, flight operations, or a similar role. Strong understanding of airline operations, aviation regulations, and scheduling software. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and airline scheduling systems. Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team. Experience Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in airline scheduling, flight coordination, or airline operations. Experience working with airline scheduling software such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar platforms is preferred. Prior experience in a remote work setting is a plus. Working Hours Flexible work-from-home schedule with availability for occasional weekend or evening shifts based on operational needs. Must be available to handle urgent schedule adjustments in different time zones. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and industry best practices.
