Responsible for assisting with the care and maintenance of a sheep herd, including feeding, monitoring animal health, setting up equipment for bleeding procedures, and maintaining farm facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and care for sheep daily
• Set up and clean bleeding equipment and areas (no direct bleeding of animals)
• Enter data into computer systems
• Perform basic facility maintenance (e.g., mowing, minor repairs)
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Participate in weekend care rotation and safety checks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Comfortable working around animals and performing physical tasks
• Basic computer skills required
