Job Description

ERM Consultant Andrew Morgan Consulting, LLC (AMC) is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified ERM Consultant to support a potential contract award with Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Office of Financial Management (OFM) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Services. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ERM Consultant provides essential support for enterprise risk management (ERM) activities within federal agencies, contributing to the success of ERM projects. The role involves assisting with risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and the development of related reporting and documentation. As part of an engagement team, the ERM Consultant helps ensure that federal ERM programs are aligned with industry standards and government regulations, contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency's risk management efforts. Responsibilities include: Support federal ERM programs by assisting with the identification, analysis, and evaluation of enterprise risks. Contribute to the development of risk management documentation, including risk registers, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Assist in conducting risk assessments, surveys, and data analysis to support risk management decisions. Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations. Help ensure compliance with federal ERM frameworks such as OMB Circular A-123 and GAO Risk Management Framework. Support project coordination by managing schedules, activities, and communication among stakeholders. Assist with the development and delivery of ERM training programs and workshops for federal agencies. Monitor emerging risks, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to support the enhancement of ERM programs. Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of proactive risk management within the organization. Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience performing project tasks for a federal ERM program. Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP). Familiarity with federal ERM policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERM-related tools. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in governance, risk, or compliance (e.g., Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)). Experience supporting risk management workshops or training for federal agencies. Knowledge of risk visualization and management software tools.

SALARY:

Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
