Overview:
The Recruiting Assistant will be assisting with the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly positions. This role requires a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, job ad management, and candidate screening. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities at once. To answer incoming telephone lines, greet, and start prospective Field Associates through the selection process. Input all necessary Field Associate information into Bullhorn.
Key Responsibilities:
To be the first person to answer incoming telephone calls.
To direct clients with job order requests to Staffing Consultants, Account Manager, or Strategic-Partner
To input accurately all necessary Field Associate information into Bullhorn.
File Field Associate employee folders.
Administer pre-screen, applications, and assessments of Field Associates.
To audit Field Associate time cards, both paper and WebTime, for accuracy.
To ensure quality service by handling Client and Field Associate matters courteously, properly, and efficiently.
To telephone screen prospective Field Associates.
Schedule candidates for assessment and interview.
Process employment verifications and documents in Bullhorn.
Hand out Field Associate paychecks.
Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the Strategic-Partner.
Process Field Associate birthday cards monthly.
Process and mail cover letters for Field Associate background check information.
Order office and printing supplies.
Qualifications:
0-2+ years of experience in a Recruiting, Staffing coordinator role, or Human Resources, preferably hiring hourly/frontline employees
Strong familiarity with online hiring platforms, particularly Indeed
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficient with email, scheduling tools, and basic applicant tracking systems
Experience coordinating interviews and handling recruiting operations logistics
