We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Superintendent-Construction to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all electrical construction efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and building codes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of their work and compliance with project specifications.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is proceeding on schedule and to specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects on project planning and execution.
  • Manage and resolve any issues, conflicts, or emergencies that may arise on the construction site.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with building codes and regulations.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards are met.
  • Train and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Proficient in quality control, team leadership, safety compliance, site management, subcontractor management, and building codes knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and the latest technologies in the industry.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive, diligent, and able to anticipate potential issues before they arise.
  • Certified Electrician or relevant license may be required.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
