Producer - Encinitas, CA (On-Site)

We're looking for a Digital Producer with agency experience who is accomplished at working with teams to create digital strategy, websites, e-commerce, and design systems for our clients. This role will support Senior Producers and will have direct client interaction. As a Producer, you are adept at managing designers, developers, QA teams, and clients. You thrive on ticking the boxes for logistics. Creating timelines, comprehensive to-do lists, and defining the resources for the project are all things you do well. You enjoy exceeding your clients' expectations and fostering a collaborative and positive environment with your clients and team.

Contract / freelance role- temp. to perm – on-site 3 days a week (M, W, TH).

*This is not a marketing, television, social, content creator, or IT role.

Responsibilities:

• Project Structuring and Scoping: Structure and scope digital projects, ensuring clear project parameters.
• Delivery and Execution Oversight: Oversee the delivery and execution process, facilitating effective team communication and collaboration.
• Adaptability and Deadline Management: Work with cross-functional teams to accommodate rapid change and deliver work under tight deadlines.
• Schedule and Budget Development: Develop schedules and budgets to manage projects through all phases: Discovery, UX Design, UI Design, Development, QA, Launch, and Maintenance.
• Resource Management: Define and monitor team and vendor resources to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Senior Team Collaboration: Partner with senior team members to learn and contribute to complex digital and integrated projects.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project management processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Producer in a creative agency.
• Solid understanding of the project lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing a variety of digital projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp).

Bonus if you are proficient in the following systems:

• Slack
• ClickUp
• Harvest/Forecast
• Google Suite
• Smartsheets

This is a Contractor role temp. to perm. The target pay range for this role is $30- 40/hour. If and when the role becomes permanent, salary and benefits package will be discussed.
