Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY :

Under the direct supervision of the Team Office Manager with guidance from the Dental Assistant II's, sterilizes dental instruments to support a 12+ chair, multi-location, comprehensive dental program with an emphasis on pediatric care. The individual must be able to provides clinical support services involving sterilization, preparation, distribution, collection, and storage of dental supplies and equipment on a daily basis. This position supports the dentist and/or dental hygienist in the performance of dental procedures in a manner which displays technical competence, time management skills, and contributes to the efficient turnover of instruments. Prepares and maintains dental equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocol, procedures, and standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


1. High School Diploma equivalent education required

2. A minimum of two (2) or more years working in a dental clinic setting preferred

3. Prior experience with dental sterilization strongly preferred
