Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Schedule: Short Term Assignment for at least 3 months. Primary schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00a to 11:00a with 30-minute lunch. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need. EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE FACILITY OPEN 24 HOURS/DAY 7 DAYS/WEEK 365 DAYS/YEAR! Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, loading/unloading containers, using a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, processing returned packages, maintaining vehicles, performing minor roadside repairs, general facility cleaning, and other duties as required. Must demonstrate knowledge of process and systems supporting product delivery including technology assisted packaging system (Isotrac) and route optimization tablet. Verifies accuracy of labeling on outgoing shipments, prepares receipts for products delivered, handles and disposes of waste safely, maintains accurate log books and vehicle inspection records, and participates in all required training including biohazard waste handling, blood-borne pathogens, security awareness, dosimetry, radiation safety, contamination testing, HIPAA, fall prevention, ergonomic safety, safe driving procedures, and route optimization. Provides timely and accurate completion of deliveries using the safest and most efficient routes. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent preferred, valid driver's license with good driving record, minimum age 18, prior delivery driving experience a plus, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night, strong customer service and communication skills, flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on call, various shifts or overtime, and ability to use computers and tablets.
