COO | Proprietary Trading Fund | SPX | Crypto Derivatives

Seeking a results-driven and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational, legal, and compliance infrastructure for a growing proprietary trading fund focused on SPX and crypto derivatives. This individual will partner closely with the founder and trading leadership to build a best-in-class fund structure, oversee registration and compliance, and execute the firms long-term growth strategyincluding capital formation and investor relations.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in hedge fund operations, fund formation, compliance, and investor engagement, with a strong understanding of derivatives markets and the regulatory frameworks governing them.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or JD preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in a COO, CEO, Managing Partner, or senior operations role at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or alternative investment vehicle.
• Proven track record in fund formation, legal structuring, and compliance oversight.
• Strong working knowledge of options trading, SPX derivatives, crypto derivatives, and quantitative trading environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage fund administrators, auditors, and custodians.
• Familiarity with U.S. and offshore fund regulatory structures (e.g., Cayman, BVI, Luxembourg).
• Established network of institutional and high-net-worth investors (strong plus).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
