Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Concrete Laborer for an immediate start in West Burlington, IA!

WEEKLY PAY - LONG-TERM PROJECT!

• PAY: $20.00/hr
• HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm
• START DATE: ASAP
• DURATION: temp-to-hire

About the Role:
We are seeking a hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete pouring, form carpentry, and finishing, with a background in commercial construction. This is a hands-on role that also includes general labor duties to support site operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with concrete pours, including slabs, sidewalks, walkways, and other structures
• Perform form carpentry, setup, and removal of concrete forms
• Smooth, finish, and patch concrete surfaces to required specifications
• Operate hand and power tools related to concrete work
• Assist crew members with general labor duties as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean job site at all times
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Concrete experience preferred (pouring, forming, and finishing)
• Commercial construction experience (preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
• Willingness to perform general labor tasks in addition to concrete work
• Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Pre-employment background check is required
