Job Description: As a Companion Caregiver, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by offering non-medical, hands-on support. You’ll work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator and provide companionship, basic care, and essential daily assistance—while observing and documenting the client's condition and care. What You’ll Do: * Offer friendly companionship and emotional support * Help with dressing and undressing * Assist with light housekeeping and laundry * Change bed linens and maintain a clean living space * Provide medication reminders * Plan and prepare simple, nutritious meals * Assist with feeding if needed * Encourage social interaction and daily engagement * Report any changes in client condition to our care team * Document care provided in line with our standards Requirements: * Ability to read, follow instructions, and document care * Compassionate and dependable with good hygiene * Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision * Must pass a competency and skills test (80% or higher) * Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle * Completion of required caregiver training (we can help with that!) * Must be at least 19 years old * Must be able to pass a thorough background check Founded in 2014, Sunlight Senior Care was built on the belief that exceptional care starts with compassion—for both clients and caregivers.
