As a Community Outreach Assistant , you’ll support on-the-ground outreach initiatives and connect directly with community members to amplify our nonprofit partners’ missions. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about social impact, public engagement, and hands-on marketing with a purpose.
Represent nonprofit partners at community events, pop-up booths, and local activations
Engage with the public face-to-face to share key messages and increase awareness
Distribute campaign materials and answer questions about nonprofit initiatives
Encourage community participation through sign-ups, donations, or other calls-to-action
Maintain accurate records of outreach interactions and feedback
Work closely with team leads to align on goals and messaging
Assist in setting up and breaking down outreach displays or event setups
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or nonprofit/marketing experience a plus
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to individuals and groups
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
