Who is Family Private Care?

Family Private Care is a private home care company that has provided compassionate, high quality care for 25 years! We are currently looking for CNAs and PCAs to serve our clients in Atlanta and surrounding counties. 

What makes Family Private Care unique and set apart from other home care companies? We are a private company, not a franchise. Our professional CNAs/PCAs interact directly with clients, one-on-one, providing safety, comfort and hands-on care as needed. We offer shorter 4-hour shifts, as well as longer 12-hour shifts, and everything in between, all on a PRN basis.

What you’ll do:

• Provide safety, comfort, non-invasive medical care
• Assist with activities of daily living including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulating and transferring
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Encourage participation in activities
• Adhere to all professional standards
• Follow all policies and procedures of Family Private Care and guidelines of the State of Georgia

Who is a good fit for this position?

• High School Diploma or GED, prefer 21+ years of age
• Minimum 2 years experience as CNA, HHA or PCA, preferred
• CNA Certification, HHA Training, or we can help you get your PCA if you have experience
• CPR/First Aid; TB Skin Test within 1 year or Chest X-Ray within last 5 years
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check and be willing to undergo Drug Screening
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Good communication skills and empathetic bedside manner
• Compassionate, loving, energetic and enthusiastic
• Proactive and client focused
• Ability to work under pressure and to handle critical situations calmly
