Role Description We are specifically looking for an individual with significant chiropractic billing experience and an interest in a long-term career. This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Billing Coordinator specializing in chiropractic billing. The Medical Billing Coordinator will handle day-to-day tasks including processing insurance claims, managing denials, working with ICD-10 codes, and ensuring compliance with insurance and state regulations. In addition, as the title suggests, the Coordinator will coordinate a team of less knowledgeable billing specialists in completing all of the above tasks. The team of billing specialists will report to the billing coordinator as their direct supervisor, and will require the coordinator to both train them and solve more complex problems. The coordinator will also communicate with each client/chiropractic office that their team is responsible for. This role is well-suited for self-motivated and performance-oriented individuals. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Chiropractic Billing to take care of the entire revenue cycle. Minimum 5 years of experience in Chiropractic Billing to train other billing specialists to take care of the entire revenue cycle. Minimum 5 years of working physically at a chiropractic office. A performance-based motivation. Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 codes Strong communication and customer service skills to work directly with clients Additional certification in medical billing is a plus Location: Remote / Work from home Salary: $44K/year starting salary.
