Join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work autonomously and with the healthcare team to provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care. As a vital member of our nursing team, you will care for patients of all acuity levels across various settings for procedures, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management. Your responsibilities as a CRNA include: Pre-Anesthesia Assessment & Planning, Medication & Equipment Management, Anesthesia Administration, Intraoperative & Peri-Anesthetic Monitoring, Post-Anesthesia Care & Discharge, Pain Management & Advanced Techniques, Emergency & Critical Interventions, and Compliance, Safety, & Collaboration. Education and required credentials include graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program, current state licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, and insurability by a medical malpractice insurer. Experience required is 8–12 years related experience or equivalent, with 5 years of CRNA experience preferred. The role involves working in an outpatient surgery center with no on-call, no weekends, and M-F opportunities. Physical demands include lifting over 50 pounds, standing most of the time, and potential exposure to infectious diseases. Travel may be required up to 10-15%.
