Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 24/7 Private Duty Care
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 24/7 in-home care for a client requiring hands-on personal care and mobility assistance.
Shifts Available:
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Multiple shifts available; consistent scheduling preferred)
Position Responsibilities
The CNA will provide one-on-one care in accordance with an established Plan of Care, including but not limited to:
Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
Toileting assistance, including hygiene support
Transfers and mobility assistance using a gait belt and rolling walker
Ambulation assistance as requested
Sponge bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral care
Feeding assistance and complete meal preparation and cleanup
Medication reminders (no administration)
Light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes
Running errands as requested
Assist with glasses, hearing aids, and dentures
Maintain a safe environment with strong fall-prevention awareness
Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately
Care Considerations
Client is a high fall risk and requires close supervision
Must be comfortable providing hands-on assistance for transfers
Visual deficits are present — caregivers must approach with caution and awareness
Client requires one-person assist for most tasks
Requirements
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Experience with gait belt transfers and mobility assistance
Comfortable providing total care and personal hygiene assistance
Ability to follow a detailed Plan of Care
Reliable, patient, and safety-focused
Must pass background check and meet agency onboarding requirements
