Are you looking for stable, meaningful work with competitive pay and daytime hours? ABC Contracting LLC is looking for applicants for a contract mail carrier position in the Southport, NC area.

Position Details:
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (approx. end times vary as we work until all mail/ parcels are delivered for the assigned route.)
Pay Rate: $35,000 a year to $42,000 a year
Employment type: W2 employee, not 1099

ABC Contracting LLC offers benefits which include sick pay, PTO, and vacation time after a certain length of work. Also provides transportation and gas.

Responsibilities:

• Sort mail in delivery sequence in the case 
• Load mail and packages into the vehicle in route order
• Deliver mail and parcels 
• Dismount vehicle as needed for parcels, Express mail, and accountable items
• Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid NC driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift 
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to do a federal background check
• Drug Test
