Responsibilities

• Transport cargo safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tanker and cargo.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo information.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a tanker endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with tanker trucks.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

You should be proficient in:

• Current CDL License

Salary info:

$23 - $25 / hr
