We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Charter Broker to join our established team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida or near any other CF offices in the US. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience from a cargo air freight or air charter background and will have a proven passion for aviation. We will provide the successful candidate with training, as well as industry know-how. Strong professional connections from clients and customer relationship management skills are essential for success. Purpose of Role Manage all aspects of a cargo charter flight from initial request to booking and flight operation completion. Maximize business opportunities by offering tailored solutions within budget and operational restrictions while ensuring profitability. Develop and manage a portfolio of clients and actively seek new business through leads, recommendations, and networking. Key Job Responsibilities Flight Quoting & Booking Communicate with aircraft providers for offers and negotiate to procure the best value for clients. Provide timely, detailed, and accurate offers to clients. Follow up regularly to secure confirmation. Ensure all contracts, insurance, and regulatory matters are accurate, compliant, and meet company requirements. Verify supplier contracts and ensure all terms comply with the charter agreement. Issue flight briefs with all relevant information. Client Relationship Management Identify client requirements and source suitable aircraft solutions. Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and new leads to maximize opportunities and loyalty. Keep clients informed of developments related to their bookings. Communication Participate in conference calls for effective information sharing within the team and across offices. Stay updated on activities of other cargo brokers and communicate within the network. Confirm weekend aircraft availability with airlines and communicate this to colleagues and partners. Handle sensitive data professionally and confidentially. Business Development Support sales activities and new business development efforts. Engage in cold calling and prospecting to expand the client base. Build and nurture relationships to increase client retention and loyalty. Invoicing Coordinate with accounts to issue accurate invoices. Follow up on payments to ensure timely receipt. Information Management Record relevant customer and prospect information in the CRM system promptly. Stay informed about operational capabilities of aircraft, airports, and service providers.
