Call Center- Pharmacist Consultant Location: Virtual full‑time (in‑person training required). Hybrid/virtual work policy applies. Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM EST. Job Overview: The Call Center Pharmacist Consultant supports disease management programs and physician care plans via drug therapy evaluation and consultation for program participants. How You Will Make an Impact: Evaluate member prescription needs and therapies through medication history review. Assess member compliance with plan by direct contact with members and physicians. Determine potential barriers to compliance and identify solutions. Ensure members understand appropriate use of current prescriptions. Review medications with physicians when therapies do not meet national standards and counsel physicians on alternatives. Serve as a resource to the clinical team in disease management and related areas. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current valid, active, and unrestricted RPh license. Availability to respond during non‑standard hours. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: PharmD degree preferred. Experience with direct patient counseling or education preferred. Call center experience strongly preferred. Reliable broadband internet (cable or fiber optic) at home preferred.
