Clines Custom Meats is looking for a Meat Cutter to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat and poultry for sale or consumption.
• Inspect meat packages to ensure they are free of defects and reach a quality level that meets company standards.
• Prepare packages for display or shipping using equipment that reads temperature, weight, and other information.
• Prepare food for retail by cutting, preparing, packaging and selling food products at correct price and quality.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Keep work area neat and clean by not putting down tools on the floor, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Proven experience as a meat cutter or similar position.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment safely.
• Basic math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; College Degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time- Willing to train
