• Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in analytics, risk, marketplace operations, or payments.
• Advanced SQL(Big Query), Tableau, Excel, and data analysis capabilities .

What project or initiative will they be working on?

• Lead high-complexity investigations into seller payout eligibility.
• Own day-to-day data operations, including building SQL queries, audits, reconciliations, and deep-dive payment risk analysis.
• Identify risk patterns, anomalies, and operational gaps; recommend and implement solutions.
• Work with Business, Ops, Product, and Seller Risk to define and enhance payout policy and operational workflows.
• Provide guidance to support and support prioritization of case queues.
• Create reporting, dashboards, and insights that influence payout strategy and decision frameworks.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.

Job Description

• This role is a key member of the Marketplace Partner Payments team to help on Payout strategies. This role requires a strong analytical and operational background, the ability to investigate complex seller cases, interpret large datasets, and make informed payout recommendations. The senior contractor will also help shape operational frameworks, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive improvements in the seller settlement experience.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Perform data pulls, validations, and reconciliation tasks for payout workflows.
• Investigate seller accounts for payout eligibility and apply policy criteria.
• Review documentation and evaluate compliance with payout guidelines.
• Support senior team members in deep-dive analysis for risk or settlement anomalies.
• Deliver insights and structured summaries to support payout decisions. Work with Business and Ops teams to support smooth seller settlement processes.
• Ensure SLA adherence and high-quality execution on daily tasks.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) and building self-serve analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
