Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Box Truck Driver to join our 2nd shift team in Whippany, NJ. As a Box Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. If you enjoy driving, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to providing excellent service, we want to hear from you!

• Operate a box truck to transport goods to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Load and unload pallets onto the truck, ensuring that all items are secured and handled with care.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and internal team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Assist with inventory management and organization at the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
