Overview This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 1-2 pre-determined days per week in our mid-town office. Summary As a member of clinical trial teams, the Biostatistician role involves a dual focus on programming for clinical trials, particularly for FDA submissions, and conducting statistical analyses for academic research papers aimed at publication in top medical journals. The Biostatistician brings statistical programming expertise to the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies, in the pre-clinical, Phases I to IV, and post-marketing stages of study. Responsibilities Develop and validate statistical code to support the analysis of clinical trial data. Collaborate with clinical researchers to prepare and review statistical methods and results for academic publications. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the preparation of documentation for FDA submissions. Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy discussions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, plus 2-3 years of experience in statistics, biostatistics, computer science or public health. Strong understanding of statistical methods and principles relevant to clinical research. Must be proficient in statistical programming languages such as R, Stata, Python, SPSS, and SAS. Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good follow-up and judgment. Must be able to prioritize. Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
