Base pay range $35.00/hr - $48.00/hr Key Responsibilities Process Validation & Compliance: Lead the development and execution of process validation protocols and reports (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new and existing casting and machining processes to ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory requirements. Manufacturing Support: Provide daily engineering support to production areas, troubleshooting equipment and process issues related to wax injection, and subsequent finishing processes. Tooling & Fixturing: Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and gages to optimize production efficiency, improve yields, and ensure part quality. Quality System Implementation: Utilize expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to review drawings, establish CMM programs, and define gaging Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements focused on capacity, cost reduction, and quality using structured problem-solving methodologies. Documentation: Create, maintain, and update detailed manufacturing procedures, specifications, and process flow documentation. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline. Experience: A minimum of 1 years of relevant professional experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Core Manufacturing Experience: Proven expertise with wax injection tooling and injection molding processes. Quality Systems Knowledge: Demonstrated experience leading and authoring process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for complex manufacturing methods. Metrology & Inspection: Strong working knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, Coordinate Measuring Machines ( CMM ), and various gaging techniques.
