Job Description

A well-regarded California law firm is seeking an experienced Attorney to join their team in Tustin, California . This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative group of attorneys who advise public entities across a wide range of legal matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and a background in public agency law . You’ll play a key role in providing legal counsel and representation in matters related to labor and employment, governance, litigation, and more.

Key Responsibilities (3+ areas of experience preferred):

• Advise on employment issues, workplace investigations, ADA accommodations, and Title IX compliance
• Represent clients in state and federal litigation, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution
• Assist with collective bargaining and labor relations
• Address legal matters related to public meetings, board governance, and regulatory compliance
• Draft and negotiate contracts involving construction, real property, energy, and business operations
• Serve as bond counsel on public finance transactions

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active member of the California Bar
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience working with or representing public entities is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
• Motivated, client-service oriented professional who thrives in a small, collegial environment
