H2O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations.

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Electrician to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, the assistant electrician will be responsible for performing electrical repairs and maintenance services to sewer lift stations, water distribution and water well crews.

The Day-to-Day

• Assist the Primary Electrician in day-to-day activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on wells, lift stations, etc.
• Repair/replace electrical components.
• Work closely with department supervisors to ensure proper operation of electrical facilities.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

The Skills We Are Looking For

• Minimum 6 months’ previous electrical experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicles as needed
• Ability to complete and submit written reports as needed and understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
