Job Description
***Only qualified Assistant Apparel Graphic Designer candidates located near Manhattan, NY to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Art/Design or equivalent experience
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- 1-2 years’ experience in development of marketing collateral
- Experience in Illustration using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
- 2+ years experience in Apparel Graphics
- Experience creating graphic charts and graphic specpacks
Required Soft Skills
– Highly organized
– Curious and creative
Role:
Entry level individual contributor position that creates and designs graphics, layouts and computer-based artwork for assigned collateral (point-of-sale, promotional and launch materials, hang tags, direct mail, packaging, and labeling).
Responsibilities:
- Participates in creation of new marketing ideas and stays abreast of current trends
- Follows set designs and formulas in the production of graphics and layouts
- Typically reports to Creative Director
- Typically, no direct reports
