Pay Range: $19.94 - $25.00, per hour, based on experience.

Main Function: - Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics.
- Performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental processes and policies.
- Order and maintain anesthesia supplies, data enter anesthesia billing information, and trouble shooting anesthesia equipment.
- Assists anesthesia and operating room staff in all anesthesia related matters.
- Works effectively and efficiently under pressure in a stressful environment, and often without relief.
- Uses professional communication skills in contacts with physicians and staff to interpret and report information.
- Follows standard policies and procedures using judgment and minor decision-making.
- Call is required for this position.

Qualifications: - High School graduate or equivalent required.
- 2 years of college coursework in biology, physiology, anatomy or related scientific fields preferred.
- American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technician Certification preferred or a willingness to complete within 5 years of hire.
- At least 1 year direct patient experience working in a hospital in a clinically related area, such as Nurse Aide, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomist, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Familiarity with operating room etiquette, sterile technique and fields, and anesthesia techniques preferred.
Pay Range: $19.94 - $25.00, per hour
