ABAP Developer – 1+ Year Contract

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Contract: 1+ year, with potential extension

Onsite: 5 days/week onsite

We’re looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to join a team currently running on ECC 5.0 with upcoming opportunities to work on S4 HANA 2020.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with business analysts and technical leads to ensure accurate project plans with detailed design and development activities
• Participate in requirements gathering with Business and Functional teams for new change requests
• Provide technical solutions by mapping business requirements and addressing development, incidents, and change requests
• Perform ABAP programming for SAP functional areas, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues while maintaining cooperative communication with all stakeholders
• Work with Classic Dialog Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, WebDynpro for ABAP, APIs, BAPIs, Data Dictionary, ALV, EDI/IDOCs, Proxies, Workflow, Adobe Forms, BDC/Call Transaction, User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of progressive ABAP development experience
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, technical solutioning, and SAP development for functional areas like P2P, R2R, and OTC
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues
• Deep knowledge of ABAP OOP, WebDynpro, IDOCs, BAPIs, and related SAP technologies

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with S4 HANA 2020 while working on a long-term contract.
